The One with Tiny Butterflies


 

I think I found my new favorite thing- DIY DSP! Using blends and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to make DSP that matches the color palette of my card. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but I'm really happy with the end result. I hope you guys give it a try!

Steps to make this card:
1. Cut an 8.5"x 11" piece of Whisper White card-stock so that it is 8.5" x 5.5"
2. Cut a 5.25" X 4" piece of Whisper White card-stock
3. Stamp the butterfly outline from the Hippo Happiness Stamp Set on Whisper White card-stock with Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, and Highland Heather Classic Stampin Pads
4. Color in each of the butterflies with the Light Stampin Blend of the corresponding color
5. Stamp the face on the butterflies with a Memento Pad
6. Cut out the butterflies and a label with the Hippo & Friends Dies 
7. Stamp the sentiment from the Hippo Happiness Stamp set on the label with a Memento Pad
8. On the smaller piece of Whisper White card-stock, use the blends from before to make a background pattern
9. Run the new background paper through the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
10. Attach the background piece to the card-back with Stampin Dimensionals
11. Then attach the label and butterflies with Stampin Dimensionals
12. To finish it off, use the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to paint the butterflies
