I'm not sure if you guys have noticed, but the "organic rainbow" graphic trend is growing and I LOVE it. They are so adorable and look perfect in any set of colors. I wanted to do something in the classic ROY G BIV but also pastel. I was winging it, but actually ended up really liking the end result.
As I said in the last post, we will be having more virtual events in May AND June. The first one is going to be MAY 22ND and going to have SNEAK PEAKS from the new catalog that comes out June 2nd! It will be a Facebook Group like the last few times and no need to answer questions to get in for this one. All you have to do to join this session is make a purchase on ris.stampinup.net (no matter how big or small) with the host code FRABMBZ4 and I will add you as a member to the group! You can also go to ris.stampinup.net and sign up for the Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kit subscription to get admitted into the group. I hope to see you there!
Steps to make this card:
1. Cut an 8.5"x 11" piece Crumb Cake card-stock so that it is 11" x 4.25"
2. Cut a piece of Shimmer White card-stock to 4"x 5.25"
3. Stamp the sentiment from the Seriously the Best Stamp Set with the Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad
4. Draw a rainbow using the Stampin' Blends, I used the light blends of the following colors: Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Pool Party, Balmy Blue, & Highland Heather
5. Paint the rainbow with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
6. Using the Snail Adhesive, attach the piece of Shimmer White to the card back
7. Use the Fine-tip Glue to make swirls in the shape of clouds at the bottom of the rainbow and cover with the Stampin Ice Glitter (or any glitter)
8. Let dry and enjoy!
