The One with the Crystal Effects Jar

Here is another example from another Suite that is coming in the  NEW Annual Catalog.  For those of you that are like me and love the look of the shaker jar, but don't want to mess with the headache of figuring out how to mail it, I decided to try Crystal Effects to get the same look- and it worked! Now there is the same ADORABLE shinny jar, but it is envelope friendly!

Steps to make this card:
1. Cut an 8.5"x 11" piece of Whisper White card-stock so that it is 11" x 4.25"
2. Cut a piece of Poppy Parade card-stock to 4"x 5.25"
3. Cut another piece of Whisper White card-stock so that it is 3.75" x 5"
4. Rough up the edges of the piece of Poppy Parade with the edge of your snips to give them texture
5. Take the smaller piece of Whisper White and run it through the OLD WORLD PAPER 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER 
6. On another piece of Whisper White use the JAR OF FLOWERS Stamp Set to stamp flowers, jar, and stems in Memento Ink
*stamp the stems first, then the jar around them
7. Use the JAR PUNCH to punch out the stamped image
8. Color the jar and stems with Stampin Blends
* Colors I used- Light Soft Suede, Light & Dark Old Olive, Light Soft Sea Foam, Light Pool Party, Light Smoky Slate
9. Cover in Shimmery Crystal Effects and set aside to dry
10. Now, color the flowers with Stampin Blends
* Colors I used- Light & Dark Poppy Parade, Light & Dark Daffodil Delight, Light & Dark Purple Posy, Light & Dark Cajun Craze, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light & Dark Granny Apple Green
11. Cut out the flowers with snips
12. Cover the flowers with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
13.  Cut the sentiment out with the Well Written Dies and a Gold Foil Sheet
14. Adhere the piece of Poppy Parade to the card back and then the textured piece of Whisper White to the piece of Poppy Parade
15. Cut the top border off of the jar (make sure that the Crystal Effects are completely dry before continuing the rest of the card- to speed up the process, use the Heat Gun)
16. Place a tiny amount of adhesive along the bottom of the flowers and press the jar down onto it to connect them
17. Tie a bow around the jar with the GOLD METALLIC TRIM from the FOREVER GREENERY TRIM COMBO PACK 
18. Stamp the sentiment from the BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM Stamp Set with an Old Olive Classic Stampin Pad on a scrap of Whisper White card-stock
19. Attach the jar of flowers to the card with Stampin Dimensionals
20. To finish it off, use Fine Tip Glue on the sentiment to attach it to the card
