Now that I've been spending so much time at home and actually have time to be browsing social media, it seems like everyone I know is either having a baby during this crazy time or is announcing that they are pregnant. I figured that this was the perfect time to come up with something quick and simple that can be sent out to help make this time a little bit easier for everyone.
If you've checked out the Witty-cism stamp set, then you know it is funny and adorable just like its creator, Lisa Fast! After spending time with her, I know that this set is a wonderful representation of her as a person and where she is at in life right now, so I wanted to use it to give her a little love. It has pieces that all work for different occasions and age groups, which makes it a great set to go to for life events like this.
Here is a quick video to go with the instructions and show off the simplicity of this card! It would also be really easy to interchange the stamped image with other sentiments from the set so that you can have cards for all types of celebrations.
Steps to make this card:
1. Cut an 8.5"x11" piece of Whisper White card-stock in half so that it's 5.5"x 8.5"
2. Fold in half
3. Cut a piece of Rococo Rose card-stock to 5.25"x 4"
4. Cut a piece of Whisper White card-stock to 4.75"x 3.75"
5. On a the piece of Whisper White card-stock, stamp the "Welcome Little One" from the Witty-cisms stamp set using the Memento Ink Pad
6.Take the Rococo Rose Classic Stampin' Pad and squeeze the middle, so that you get ink in the lid
7. Using the ink inside of the lid and your Wink of Stella Pen, paint the stamped image however you want!
8. Now using your Snail Adhesive, stick all 3 pieces together.
*It's super easy to repeat this with any of the pastel colors to fit the event. In the picture, I also did this card in Balmy Blue and So Saffron.
